Downloaded a couple of movies in .IMG format, once I unpacked it with Winrar.
Tried to burn them with Alcohol 120 % and one of them was a success, I was able to view in on a Stanalone DVD player.
The Other one , is totally mess up, with the picture, fluantuating Up and Down....

About to do the Thrid one or try it with Alcohol again ,but I have a lot of reservation and doubt......

    any advice?

Alcohol 120% should be OK, but you can try the free ImgBurn if you like. It's what many of us use.

Burn to DVD+/-RW so you at least don't waste discs.

Consider installing the free Daemon Tools program and mount your ISOs with it and play them prior to burning to check that they are OK.

Your pulsating picture sounds like a typical PAL-NTSC mismatch problem. That DVD is probably PAL and your TV can't handle it. Check your DVD player and see if you can set the video output to NTSC. Many DVD players have the video output set to MULTI or ANY and this is wrong for a lot of American TVs. It needs to be NTSC.

You should also be able to play back most ISO files with VLC Media player without having to use Daemon Tools.

I was not aware of this, hence the suggestion to install Daemon Tools. That's good to know.

Yep, great feature. I hardly ever use Daemon tools anymore.
It does the menu and everything...Not sure if it will open a img file though. Only time i deal with img files is with WinImage, and that's usually uncompressed floppy images

Just concern about the Fluatuating, Never thought whether my "Old" DVD does have an option on PAL /NTSC...
