Hello,
I was just wondering if my DVD-R DVD will play on a DVD+R burner/drive. I was going to pick up a laptop that was a heck of a steal in price but the only draw back is that it had a DVD+R burner on it(All I use are DVD-R discs). Please let me know if it will still play -R discs. Thanks.

Hello,
If it's finalized it will work like any other dvd. If you put a completed dvd-r in a dvdrom it will work. If it's a dvd burner it will read the disc.

It would be too hard to do if he hasn't purchased the laptop yet!

Yes, it will play.
