Hello everyone, I have a .bin file that I want to convert to VCD......it's an 800MB movie but I don't know how convert it so that I can watch it on my DVD / VCD Player.....can somebody please tell me what to do??

  2. Simply burn it as a VCD in Nero. If you need it to be converted back to .MPG, try VCDGear. It will take only a couple of minutes to do. You could also try VCDEasy.

first of all sorry about the size of my sig but I've changed it......neways, If I want to convert it back to MPG, would TMPGenc Plus work? cuz since it's like 800MB or more than that, it might not fit on a VCD....I might have to split it up and I know I can do in TMPGenc....would it work???

Isobuster will extract the mepg, click on the link I supplied. 800 Mb will fit on a standard 80 min CD if it is an S/VCD.

Follow the link Zippy supplied. If that's too difficult, here it is again. Read it. It tells you exactly what to do.

The other option is to not convert your source to bin (an image file) in the first place, making sure you convert to VCD compliant MPEG-1.

It's also a very frequently asked question, so next time, have a look through a few of the forums and see if there is a sticky that addresses your issue. You'll find your answer much faster
    If in doubt, Google it.

A bin is an image of a disk and is usually found with a cue file which gives the directions for burning to your burning software.

No, not always ... but in this context, yes, usually.
    If in doubt, Google it.
