  1. I have one ISO file (conataining a complete DVD).
How do I burn this to DVD so that I get all the typical files of a DVD like *.VOB, *.IFO and *.BUP.
Do I need to use DVDDECRYPTOR and NERO ?

Thanks a lot, have never worked with ISO files before.

  3. Original poster again:

If I burn the image using Nero or DVD Decrypter, will the DVD image file keep it's extension *.ISO ?
Will I be able to play it in a DVD player that way ?

I thought the DVD structure had to be VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS containing the vob, ifo and bup files.
Do I need to convert first ? Thanks again !

If you burn using DVD Decrypter, it should burn the 'proper' DVD, same with Nero if you use the "burn image" option. The only way Nero will keep the file as is (.ISO extension, unplayable on standalone DVD, etc) is if you burn as a DVD-Data project, instead of using the image option.

..You shouldn't need to convert a thing; but if you're worried whether or not the data contained in your .ISO is correct (or not), try "mounting" the image in Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools, etc... And check using the resulting "virtual drive" in Win Explorer just as you would a real disc/drive for the proper VIDEO_TS [only one you really need to worry about], AUDIO_TS [empty but there for compatibility reasons] folders/data...Or I guess you could check by playing the virtual disc in Nero Show Time, WinDVD, PowerDVD, etc.

    Stickies ARE overrated

Think of an ISO as a zip file with no compression. You can burn this using Nero and the instructions given by handyguy, or you can use DVDDecrypter in ISO Read mode, or you can use TMPGEnc DVD AUthor's burning engine, just to name a few. Provided that the ISO contains the proper DVD structure, all these programs will burn a compliant DVD.
    If in doubt, Google it.
