jumpy

hi i wonder if anyone can help me to clear this up. As im not sure if its a fault on my pc or a dodgy film ive downloaded.

first thing is i downloaded a film in rar format and had to extract the vob files. i extracted them all succesfully and burnt it to a a dvdr disk but playback is a bit jumpy.

second thing is ive downloaded 2 films. one was snatch in iso format and the other was alfie in a bin and cue format. i can successfully burn these to dvd but when i watch them they are jumpy. or the picture will stop for a few seconds but the sound will continue or vice versa. just very poor playback.

not sure if this is a pc prob or a dvd rip prob.

any ideas or whats going wrong ?

i have an up to date pc aswell 2 years old.
