Been capturing from 8mm camcorder, after 20- 40 minutes , all of a sudden Capture stops, but audio continues to be captured. Video that is captured is OK. Have had success in past captures but this is fairly new problem. This happens with several brands of software. Here is info which may or may not be needed, I am desperate to get this job done soon![]()

Here's a few random suggestions:
Have you tried going back and re-capturing a tape you know you've been able to capture properly in the past? Maybe there are some glitches on the tape you're currently trying to capture that're giving the Avermedia card trouble.
Have you cleaned the heads in your camcorder recently?
Are you running any other processes while the capture is in progress? (And if you've installed any new software recently, are you sure that you're [/i]not[/i] running something new in the background that you don't know about?)
