  1. I converted an svcd movie to dvd with WinAVI and I was playing it in my standalone dvd player and after the first 10 minutes, the audio starts to play before the video. Does anyone know what the problem is ?

  2. this happens quite often. Is the "after 10 minutes" part after a splice from the original (you merged two videos together at the point that it starts jumping ahead)? Also, is it a constant same amount audio ahead of the video or does it get worse/then better?

Could just go into TMPGENC rip out the audio and then cut it by X amount to put the audio and video back in sync.

yup, the audio stays ahead of the video by a constant of about 1 second

    I'll try using TMPGENC
