    HI everyone!

I'm new to this forum, and new to the dvd backup game!

I recently started trying to backup my kids' dvds now they are old enough to get at them and put them in our standalone- without asking!!.

My recent problem is with a copy of Disney's The Lion King special edition.

I've been using a Sony DVD+RW with freeware (DVD Decrypter/ DVD shrink/ DVDFab- the freeware version/ DVD stripper/IfoEdit) and for backing up my collection they have all worked fine.

Now there is just one VOB file about 800K that wont rip using DVD Decrypter. I've tried using Smartripper but no joy. The problem comes when trying to use shrink/DVDFab/Stripper to process the files for burning. They keep telling me that there is a file missing and then stop.
I can play the movie on my PC, but just cannot burn them back to a dvd+r.

I've looked through the forums and even tried some of the tricks from you guys for the problem with ripping the Star Wars dvds, but still no luck.

Can anyone point me to any forum I missed which deals with this, or offer any advice.... I'm getting tired of replacing dvds everytime they get trashed!

    Thanks in advance...

This .VOB file may be the extra content available when you play the DVD with your PC. If it isn't encrypted, you can just copy the .VOB file from the DVD to the same folder as the other decrypted files.
