Today (23/10/2004) i purchased 100 Ridisc 8x DVD-R from a local computer shop. They were specified as Ritek G05 and also Ridisc only use Ritek dye but to my horror DVDinfoPro reads them as TTG02. Has anyone else found the same discs on sale anyway?

To your horror?
TTG02 is excellent quality 4x DVD-R media made by TDK in a CMC plant in Taiwan. Very good stuff.
The most you can really be angry about is the write speed. These are 4x discs. The RITEKG05 would have been true 8x media.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

@lordsmurf,
TTG01 is 4x media.
TTG02 is 8x media.
Both burn good at 8x on NEC ND-2500A/2510A/3500A burners.
