  1. When i play some Xvid movies with fast scenes the picture gives stipes.
    Like some kind of slow motion.
    How can I prevent this.When converted to mpg this is still there.
    I've installed directx9.0c, Xvid latests, no problems with audio
    Someone to help???

  4. You could play them with another player, or De-Interlace them (requires reencode).

    PowerDVD will deinterlace during playback.

    If converting with an encoder like TMPGEnc you have to tell it if your source video is interlaced. Using the "Project Wizard", TMPGEnc can detect if your source is interlaced.

    If converting to VCD you should probably just deinterlace through TMPGEnc (or whatever your using). If converting to DVD you should NOT deinterlace, but set source as "Interlaced". Attention should be payed to the "Field Order" when encoding interlaced video (Project Wizard can also detect this).
