Using ffmpegX 0.0.9p, i have installed all the other components fine, BUT when i select mpeg2enc on my desktop, add my osx password, click install in the self-installer, it disappears and i and the encode dialog/window appears. I quit the program....and then when i start ffmpegX up again, it once again tells me that mpeg2enc isn't installed(this happens every time no matter how many times i try to install mpeg2enc). I have also tried the "manual way" explained in another thread, and have also tried repairing permissions.....any ideas?
Thanks,
Norbert

This is where i'm getting my version of mpeg2enc:
http://mjpeg.sourceforge.net/MacOS/
link towards bottom...osx.cvs.tar.gz
When i expand the file, the mpeg2enc is 1,196,360 bytes...
Where can i get the correct versiomn?
Thanks,
Norbert

this is the one i am using as well. i have used the nightly cvs build, and the direct link which is like file size 185k. neither seems to install correctly. option clicking the mpeg2enc link drops the file to the desktop, but doesn't set the right permissions. this is why I think people are getting tripped up with this and the real-libs.
