Authored DVD with chapters freezes

Hi. I use DVD Author 1.6 to make the dvd with chapters (I usually put about 20 chapters) and I join two files making about 10 chapters per video file. After the process is done, I "preview" the result playing the video with Power DVD and it's ok. After I burn the files to a dvd, when I play it in a normal dvd player or in the computer (power dvd), it never makes to more than the 12º chapter without freezing the image.

How can I create chapters in the dvd without freezing the image? (when I don't put any chapters, it doesn't freeze)

have you tried different media? be sure to test the media with something like nero cd dvd speed. or try copy all files to your hd. some media are just crap.

I have tried nero cd dvd speed but I have still the same problem. I can only read the hole dvd with chapters when it's not burned in the DVD yet. I have burned the same video without any chapters and it's ok. So, I think it's because of the chapters, but I wanted to know why...
