Hey All
Its my first time usin this forum that i can remember so ill hope its useul, i just got a DVD-RW not long ago to put some home movies in avi files onto DVD's so i can play on DVD player. Tried using nero, all seemed to work fine, had a great menu etc, but for some reason there was no sound on the video, has anyone any ideas why please, or even a link to a good guide of software and how to make into DVD's
Cheers in advance all for the help

What programs are you using to put your dvd together? Did you try play the movie on the computer?

So far i have only had to use Nero to do everything as it has encoding and converting within it on nero 6 - vision express 2. Is this not a good idea to use nero, or am i doing something wrong to not have sound on there?

please try post in correct forum. avi to dvd is not dvd to dvd. moving you.

sounds like your player does not support that type of audio file. I think you encoded teh sound into mpg file, try using pcm format. anyway, look into this problem....
