of a recent football game, but now i need to put it on tape. To do this, I need to conver those VOB files back to the original MPEG files that they were in.
Is there a tool to do this?

Hello,
Why don't you just put the dvd in a dvd player and dub it to a vcr??? If you made it there won't be any macrovision. It will dub in realtime.

Why don't you just get a VCR with DVD and VHS and record to VHS as the DVD plays?
Open the VOBs in VirtualDub-MPEG2 and frameserve to TMPGEnc and convert to MPEG-1 or 2. -

Just be careful of pal ntsc problems which may cause your picture to come out black and white on the tape and or with no sound.
