  1. Hello All,

I wonder if you can help?

I have a DIVX file which I am having problems with. The only thing the file will play in is the DIVX player itself. I have all the codecs installed but nothing else will touch.

I am trying to convert the file to DVD but nothing will touch it there either. I have used DIVFIX and it looks like it's doing it's job, however, the 600mb + file that it creates only plays for 11 minutes 22 seconds. On the DIVX player, the file plays for one hour and 15 minutes.

The error that I am getting is that there is no index, DIVFIX does say that it's rebuilding it but as mentioned above, when it's finished the file only plays for a short time.

Is there anything else out there that may be able to help me (virtualdub just spits it out) I am hoping that there is a piece of software out there that will capture it whilst it is playing on DIVX??

    Hopefully You Can Help

    Many Thanks In Advance

  2. Use GSpot to get more information about your DivX file and then post GSpot's findings.
