I had a few movies in MPEG format, and I used SVCD2DVD to author a DVD of them. After burning the disc, I can play it in my DVD player but can't hear anything. On the computer, however, the music is just fine. It's weird because when I burn images of DVD discs, I can hear the music on both the computer and the DVD player, so the problem is not with either of them.
One thing I should note is that after authoring the DVD with the program, the AUDIO_TS folder was empty. Is this a problem? Maybe I should just author the DVD with different configurations, here is an image with the options I use so you can see if something is wrong:
Many thanks,
Chen

Hi Chen,
The answer to your question may be in the software you use - read all the wording in the "Mpeg audio re-sampler/encoder" section...
As for the AUDIO_TS folder being empty - this is fine / normal. It's a relic from the DVD structure when audio DVDs were made (or something like that). It's kept because some DVD players look for both folders to identify a disc as a DVD. Without it, it might not play even though it's empty.
Good luck. There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
