I KNOW one of you guys has enough "chump change" stashed away to buy me this Les Paul (guitar).. Everybody laughed at ME when I paid $400 for my Les Paul back in 1980 - mine is actually a 1978 model...bought it used....came with a small Peavey Pacer amp too..

    Check THIS one out:

  3. That's a lot for a guitar... How much do you reckon your one is worth by now?

I've been offered over $3000 for it. Mine is unique though. For some reason it weighs ALOT more than any other Les Paul I have ever seen(or held).
There are ALOT of expensive LP's out there....in the $4000 range...re-issues mostly though.

  6. Just don't bid on it if you're from Indonesia.

Did you read his negative feedback? What a riot.

    My babies
78 Les Paul, Paul Reed Smith CE22 and a custom Martin J-40

My newest baby with my old black Martin..a Martin 00028-EC

I actually sold the black Martin to buy the new Martin. Paid $800 for that
one in a guitar store in Pittsburgh....sold it for $2000 on Ebay...went and bought my 00028-EC..
That black Martin was WAY to big for me.

A '59 Les Paul Flametop can go for anywhere from $20,000 to $60,000. I have a friend who has a '53 Gold Top similar to this one (P-90s and all). His has the old style bridge and not the stop bar tail piece and tune - o - matic bridge. Damn thing never stays in tune. Absolute horror to adjust intonation. Not real sure what a '53 would go for. I imagine it would be a good deal more than he paid for it. He bought it for $150.00 from some elderly lady when she responded to his ad in the local paper for Wanted: used guitars and amps.
