    Hello,

You may have some bad frames. Try putting the original mpg into virtualdubmpeg2 and do a framecheck (sorry can't remember where it is right now).

  3. A little information would be helpful. Did TMPGEnc spit out any error messages?

    Hello,

Can you go back to the original source??? Recapture or redownload or rerip would be the best way.

The other possibility may be to see if it is variable bitrate. I've read here that tmpgenc doesn't like variable bit stuff. I don't know how to solve that but do a forum search on that and it may help. Good luck.
