  1. im downloading some movies, dvd rips,their approx 700mb avi files.
    i want to,if possible, after i convert, fit an entire movie to a 80min 700mb cd-r..im sure id lose quality, but not sure which guide to follow.
    can i convert a 700mb avi file to a ready to burn vcd file? and fit it on 1 cd-r?

    (not good with words or explainin things) lol

    i wanna make a VCD but have the entire movie fit on 1 cd-r.

    It goes completely against what I think you are doing, but try the guide here.

  4. hmmm u maybe right, i just did a small test with that guide, and the results look horrible along with the sound..im prob better off just burning the entire movie as a data cd (on 1cd) and just play movies on the PC.

  6. kvcd is something u should look into if u set on doing a 1cd conversion, why are u so against using 2cds???? can ur dvd player play svcd??? if it can id suggest using dvd2svcd with cce and d2sroba plugin to turn out a reasonable quality svcd in 3 - 4 hours

    You can try my TMPGenc template which I use all the time (you may have to change it from PAL to NTSC if you live in the states) >

    Pop it in the 'Template' folder
    Use it via the wizard.
