have a NTSC sony trv33 camcorder. I can view the tape on the lcd sreen but can't capture it. I have tried firewire and composite out to my AWI card nothing works the best I get is the picture with green and red lines through it when i try through the AWI.. I may be able to get the pal dv camcorder and try capturing that way , will this work the easiet? or is there a way I can do it with my camcorder??

I think that's a only way it would work. You need a PAL Camcorder or VCR for it to playback into the AIW card. All you do is set your input to PAL instead of NTSC.
I asked about converting a tape the other day and that's what I was told because I picked up my AIW 9600XT
PAL non converting VCR's run about $100. You might want to check locally to see if anybody rents them out.Project Digital: Eliminate All Physical Media is finally underway!
