Using 2 burners

hi, i've got a pioneer 107d, and was thinking about adding another to my system, any of you done, or know how to do this, and if so, is it easy to write to 2 dvd-r's at the same time, without making lots of coasters, tia

Nero supports multiple burners but:
1. You are burning the same data stream i.e.you have two copies of the same disc.
2. The burning rate is capped at the slowest burning rate of your multiple burners i.e. you can't burn faster than the slowest burner.

WHen I want to burn the same image twice I use nero. But to burn 2 different discs at once I just have 2 instances of dvd decrypter running.

I guess that will work if you have each instance of DVD Decrypter using a different burner.

so how do i set it up, 1 have 2 harddrives on the 1st ide channel, do i use the 2nd ide, and set one writer to master, the other to slave..? and then use nero...?

yes use the 2nd IDE and set one to master and other to slave. then use nero.

I use NERO or ALCOHOL 120 %

Both can burn to multiple burners. I have 5 indentical Sony Dru 530 ul external firewire drives daisy chained together. I use that setup to burn up to 5 disks at a time from a single master file. Be it an image ( In Alcohol ) or both Images or VIDEO TS files ( in Nero ). I produce instructional hobby related videos and shoot events proffessionally.
I can fill a 20 dvd order, burn and print in like 50 minutes total usingf 8x media. Occassionally, about 1 out of 100 burn cycles I get a failure where one drive for whatever reason will fall behind and that burn fails. The rest continue and end perfectly
