Any idea what may be causing these errors? Should I simply try another app than Nero? I am not using any form of directcd or incd. Thanbks in advance all for the help! It only happens when using nero, sometimes during use, and sometimes even after closing nero, working on other things, and then attemptiong to shut the computer down, and the voila', we have another BSOD. If I don't run nero, than we don't have any problems...

Glad you brought that up! I actually did download the latest version, and went ahead and updated the other Nero apps as well. Never new that Nero recode existed, so I wanted to check it out after the patch/update was applied, and wouldn't you know it, as soon as I popped into Recode the stop error popped up. My system just does not like anything from Nero, or vice versa. I was looking at my IRQs as well and see that my video card is sharing with the USB controller, but XP does not report any conflicts. Below is a list of my IRQs, is it normal for the video card to share with other IRQs? I always thought that each device needed it's own IRQ...I also thought there were only 15 IRQs, when did they expand??
