  1. I have a 6,8 gig hdtv .avi file (1280x720) which I tried to split in order to fit on 2 dvds. But no avi splitter seem to be able to handle hdtv, they keep saying wrong file, format unknown etc. Does anybody know a program that cand handle this? Thank you

  6. Yes, it's an avi made with wmc9 and ac3 filter. HDTV, probably originally a .ts file captured with a hi-def sat receiver or a pc card. I downoaded it as it is, with the info above. It looks like virtual dub can't handle it either, or I don't know what to do. But I think it doesn't accept files larger than 2 gig.
