    hello.

    I would like to split an file AVI in two files smaller. What program does that?

  2. There are many choices. If your AVI is XVID or DIVX, you can do it in virtualdub. If it's AVC/h.264 you should use avidemux

    Thank you Poisondeathray. I had discovered the VirtualSub. I ran it, I chose a file of 2 GB and selected the first 1 GB. But it created very many files in the total of 77 GB and aborted by lack of space! Please tell me what I must to do to obtain only one file of 1 GB, the desired.

  4. It's likely that you forgot video=>direct stream copy. This results in an uncompressed AVI (=big)
