  1. I captured an mepg-2 with d1 and then split it into native m2v and the audio, which is pcm. I want to convert the pcm to mp2 so I can import it into mpeg2schnitt and cut out the parts I don' t want. I tried running it through BeSweet GUI but it just brings up the besweet dos window for a fraction of a second and then shows the log. The file it created is 0 kb. What can I do to convert it (other programs)?

TMPGEnc can do it as well, select ES (video only) in the main screen.

    Hi Garibaldi,

ffmpeggui does WAV/PCM to MP2. It's simple, quick and totally reliable.

Great idea! That worked great because I can convert audio right from the original mpeg! That's an interesting way of looking at it, rather than trying to convert the extracted audio. So I use demux to make the m2v file and ffmpeg gui to extract the audio from the original mpeg.
