I have used TMPGENC 3.0 express for a couple of months now and have had no problems at all until last night. I have downloaded two files of 1.3GB each and wish to encode them to DVD PAL format. When I hit encode I get the following error...

'There is no quoted number of character-string '%.2f.'

On receipt of this the output is stopped.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction with this one.

    Regards
    Thanks.....Mac

  2. The problem is most likely that you don't have enough space on your hard drive. Empty your recycle bin, delete you temporary internet files, etc.
Or maybe your hard drive is fragmented.

Is your hard drive FAT32 or NTFS ?
You're saying that you've encoded the movie before, but how big was it then and how big is it now ?
If your hard drive is FAT32, then it can't handle files above 4GB and it's possible that you receive an error message like that.
