  1. Hello All,

Having a heck of a time trying to make a backup of Passion of Christ. Shrink with AnyDVD stops about 1/2 through the 1st analysis, and gives an Incorrect Function error. Trying to rip to HD with decryptor (anydvd disabled), I get an Invalid function for this track error appox 1/2 into the rip process. I have watched the original on my normal dvd player with no problems. Any suggestions?

Rip all the files you can with DVD Decrypter on your DVD-ROM. Rip the "bad" file with your DVD-Recorder. Recorders are usually locked at 2X and can rip files a 16X DVD-ROM will balk at. I do this whenever I encounter this problem.

  3. I just ran into the same problem....stopped ripping at 53%, in both drives, using DVD Decrypter.

What I finally did was rip it with DVDShrink in the burner.

    Worked perfect.

  4. As suggested I ripped with the burner, and it worked like a charm. First time I've ran into something like this, just curious if anyone knows why it would have a problem ripping certian files at a faster spin speed?

Please no religious dogma here. The member said "Backup" which implies he/she OWNS the movie. That's ok on this website.

  7. Same here. DvdDecrypter kept freezing at 70%. So I ripped with the burner and it work.
