    Hello all,
    I am working on a passion project that i need some help with and just kind of need steered in the right direction if anyone can point me that way.

    I have several high school football games that have been transferred from VHS to DVD. I would like to put all these DVD's on my computer, and then make a highlight film from them. I have a Mac computer with OS/X. My computer has iMovie on it.

    I believe the first step would be to rip the DVD's onto my computer so i can then cut and edit the scenes i want. What would be the best way to do that and if you have any additional advice or tips, i appreciate it greatly. thanks.

    This post should be moved to the mac forum where its been asked and answered a few dozen times,just do a search there for similar posts.
