Any program that can check MPEG1 for error before burning to VCD using Nero 6? i sometimes got jerky VCD movies or there's a part will the movie will stop for seconds then continue again, this kind of errors, when backing up my original VCDs...

sometimes i already copied the whole MPEG file from my original VCD (no scratches) to my HD encountering no problem, but after burning it to VCD format there's is a part of the movie where it stops for seconds when i played it in my VCD player...im thinking of checking the MPEG file first saved in my HD before burning...

Best to use a program like dvdinfopro or nero CDSpeed.exe and do a speed test on the cd itself.most likely its the cd that was poorly burned and struggles to play at weakly burned spots.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

i copied all my MPEG from my VCD originals

it is a MPEG saved on my HD that has a problem, coz when i played using Media Player before burning the MPEG file it has already an skipping/stopping problem...

that's why i need a program that can check MPEG file in my HD for problems coz i don't have the time to view the full length movie using media player...

If you don't have the time then you'll have to learn to put up with possibly substandard results.
    If in doubt, Google it.
