Hi all!
How can I fit nearly 4 hours of SVCD contents onto a single DVD with menus?
I've read something about "re-encoding" in DVD format, but it will then require 2 DVDs. The SVCD quality is fine for me because they are VHS-captured cartoon episodes (they are more than 30, thus I really need menus). The simple video files would fit into the DVD since they are 3.76 GB all (five distinct smaller ones): I hope it's only a matter of authoring software.
I'm using WinDVD Creator 2 at the moment.
Thanks for any tip!![]()

nanifra,
You can find guides for authoring SVCD to DVD here:
https://www.videohelp.com/author#3;29
I would reccommend this guide:
https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=266&howtoselect=3;29#266
That will allow you to author SVCD to DVD without re-encoding. It may be possible for you, or it may not. I believe it depends on the player.
If that fails, try this:
https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=391&howtoselect=3;29#391
Best of luck!

You can just put your clips straight into tmpgenc dvd author, author and then burn with your favourite program, I use nero 6 ultra.
