DVD Movie Factory 3.0 keeps crashing when rendering

I keep getting the Windows error message, that ULEAD DVD MovieFactory 3.0 has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. I got thisrecently, for what seems to be no reason. It happens when it trys to render the first clip, but only when i edit it or edit the Menu....anyone got any suggestions? I already did a reinstall that Ulead recommmended, but any info will help. thanks.

Try (in order):

1) Verify that antivirus, system monitoring, and other non-essential apps are not running.
2) Try patches or updates from Ulead if available
3) Uninstall and reinstall DVDMF.
4) Reinstall Windows from within Windows. This will preserve your settings.
5) Try latest Windows service packs and security updates.
6) Clean reinstall of Windows
7) Reformat and reinstall Windows

Hopefully you'll not need to go past step 2 or 3

How do i reinstall windows from within windows to preserve my settings? WIll this uninstall any programs? will i need my windows key code?
