I pulled this from their forum. Hope this helps. Thread here

    From Roger at Supermediastore:
We have contacted the CEO of Prodisc USA and he confirmed that some Prodisc DVD are using MCC codes. Those MCC codes are supposed to be used for Verbatim branded DVD only but currently they have Verbatim's authorization to use those MCC codes for some Prodisc DVD media. Since MCC coded stampler and dye are made by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation that company has good reputation in the industry, the discs with MCC codes have the same good quality and compatibility as other discs, probably better. For new shippments coming into USA, he said those discs may still have MCC codes but he can't guarantee that. So in my opinion, if you got MCC coded discs, you are lucky.

  2. Thanks for the info

Got back from my vacation just in time to read this. Pretty bummed actually. I have enough ProdiscS03 media as is and if I can't get a guarantee that I will get MCC, I won't risk it. I will probably order some costly Maxell media soon which SuperMediaStore does not carry.
