Insert compatible media

I have experienced problems every time i try to copy a dvd with dvdfab the software tells me to insert a blank dvd or compatible media so far i tried everything I tried to rip the movie first, i tried to copy only the movie with one language option and i tried to make an exact copy but without results. I even rip it before with rejq but i still can,t burn it.
I have changed media three time i used fuji dvds, verbatin dvds and tdk dvds but NOTHING WORKS.... why?
I have an AMD 2.16ghz 512 DDR sdram 160Gb hard drive and a DVR RW
Windows XP
The dvd i tried to copy is a DVD5 has no subtitles and last 1.35 hours so is not so long... please any info about i,, getting crazy.

Why don't you try dvd decrypter? It can read and write a dvd. And since it's already a dvd-5 you won't have to transcode (shrink) it. Just go to mode - iso read. That rips it. Then go to iso write- locate the iso file, then burn.
