OK, here is what I want to do:

I have multiple TV episodes that I have collected and I'm working to put them onto DVD. They are failrly low res captures and most have sound on the left channel only.

Using GoldWave, I extracted the audio, converted it into stereo, corrected the sound levels, and saved it as a wav file at 48kbps.

Now what I want to do is take the original avi video stream, join it with the new audio stream, and save it all as a xvid avi file.

    How can I do this?

Thanks. I have been trying that, but I was using VirtualDubMod, which doesn't have audio settings. I switched to regular VirtualDub....much better. ]

    Thanks
