Burning SVCD on Nero

Hi I have some cartoons I downloaded in SVCD format. Was wondering how I go about burning them on Nero. Do I need special discs. I now use CD-R's to burn my mp3's and other formats but am assuming SVCD will not burn on these. Any help appreciated.

you burn SVCD's on regular cd-r discs. Nero should have an option to burn SVCD, but I think you need the mpeg2 plugin (dont remember).

I think if the files are already in svcd format then you don't need the plugin, but I don't really remember either.

no you don't need it, the plugin is just for encoding to SVCD (mpeg-2)

For NERO 6 and up, open NERO (not in express mode) go RECORDER tab select BURN IMAGE select you SVCD file (typically a .bin...look with ALL FILES from the drop down box) ....in the pop up burn box select image type MODE2 (this is essential) and just burn the file...for NERO 5 BURN IMAGE is in the FILE tab.
