    How does one finalize a dvdr OUTSIDE of the regular burning process (as used in CopyToDVD and Nero)? can this be done (assuming it was not done by these 2 apps during the original burn) with another app after the burn? thanks for all replies.

    alright you dvd gurus, don't be shy Okay another quick Q...does the creation of the Lead-In and Lead-out blocks constitute a finalized media? thanks.

    Well i would have thought as you can only use a dvd-r once if you fail to finalise then you cant do it in another program. Could be wrong, just my best guess. If you were using dvd-rw then thats another story.
    On the second post no idea....

    With Nero:

    1-Insert the unfinalized disk into your drive
    2-Open nero (with classical interface not the wizard)
    3-Under multisession choose continue multisession
    4-Under burn choose write and finalize
    5-Press New
    6-Press burn button
