    I have a switched menu in dvd-lab but the audio track re-starts everytime the menu changes, it there any way to keep the audio playing while only the menu changes? thanks

    No. Audio is tied to the title. Each switched menu is effectively a new title. There is no way to keep audio going across the change.

    There might be another solution. With the addition of scripting in DVD-Lab, it might be possible to work with same menu and just programmatically switch around items in the menu.

    One commercial DVD I've seen like this is Terminator 2. The background video loops in the menu and when you select different options, only the text changes.

    I've never tried it, but I think that it should be technically possible. See DVD-Lab pro and look for the LAB-TALK option for scripting.
