  1. Has anyone managed to get an ATI AIW to work with one of those Freeveiw Digiboxes ?

I have mine connected straight to a AIW card via an RF cable. Everything works fine except for this annoying audio pop every minute or so. This only happens on digibox broadcasts (I've tried two different boxes, with different cables and ariels) whereas normal terrestrial signals are fine.

I'm out of ideas here apart from changing video cards.

I do it all the time. Don't use the RF connection as you are converting pretty good quality video into a modulated RF signal in the Freeview box and then back to video in the AIW. Use either S-Video (if your box has it) or composite video from the Freeview straight to the corresponding connector on the AIW. If you box doesn't have separate composite or S-Video connections, you can pick them up from the scart connector.

I have connected the audio using audio cables rather than RF and the audio popping has dissapeared freaking sweet. I can't wait to finally start capping UKTV History :P :P

Your digibox was outputting noise via coax.
