I am hearing that this is the new standard for video encoders and it is noticably better than all the rest. Is any body using it right now and what are your thoughts on how it stacks up to the others?

NTSC users like procoder's results
The best encoder is cce sp (with avisynth)
For the PAL users, those "benefits" procoder has are not an issue, because PAL don't have the issues NTSC has and Procoder can settle.
I belong to this party of users, that strongly believe that Mainconcept is better procoder for PAL DVD projects and mpeg 1 encodings (VCD)
But I still use TMPGenc 2.5 for the majority of my encodings
