Hi, I have a problem with the volume on anything captured being too high. I have tried changing the recording volume levels with volume control but it is at minimum and only makes a difference when I mute it!
Normal live viewing via my card is fine, its only playback of recording.
There are no other audio settings within WinTV to change the recording level so wondered what I could do?!![]()

I presume that you capture your video via composite and audio through audio in. Then you can use the audio line-in to control the volume in the Play Control window. Alternatively, you can use video editor like Premiere, Vegas or Ulead to control the audio volume.
