DVD to SVCD problem with sound

So i rip the DVD with ImtooDVD Ripper ( Also tried with Super DVD Ripper )
The video looks great and all
but the sound skips all the way through the video
like ( eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh )

It does this with any DVD that i back up to watch on my pc
and any program that i use

And if i rip it to VCD !!! the sound plays fine

It could be many many reasons....
First you need to pinpoint where the problem was originated.

Use Goldwave or any audio editing programs to extract the problem SVCD file's audio track into wav file.

Listen to it after the extraction. See if the sound still skips.

If it sounds ok now, the problem probably lies where before the audio compression starts. Or the apps you use are not efficient encoding audio with mpeg2 streams.

If the audio still skip, post again.
