    Recently, I have formatted my PC with Windows XP SP1. From then on, if I use TMPGEnc or MainConcept Encoder to convert Divx to DVD or VCD, the PC freezes. Both application works for 30% to 40% and freezes.

    It was working well before formatting it.

    Similarly, If I use P3 (with windows XP SP1), it works well.

    I do not know what is wrong. Any help or precedence?

    Try turn on the DMA if it's not turn on. Here is the instruction from MSFT.
