    I'm sorry if this is the wrong section of the forum, but I am not sure where to put this request. I want to create an mpeg 2 file from a single bitmap image and a wav clip I have. Does anyone know how to do that ?

    you can do it with Wax (freeware) - put your audio and your image on the timeline, go to Project -> Settings and give it a name, then go to Project-> Render and render the file.

    then use your mpeg encoder of choice to encode from .avi to .mpg.
