i have several .avi files which contain switchable subtitles which open with vobsub (little green arrow in system tray when .avi files is played in media player) and so what i want to do is be able to convert the .avi file to an mpeg2 file using tmpgenc but dont know how to keep the subtitles. i have read guids on creating permenant subtitles with virtualdub but they dont work. those guides talk about .ssa files which i dont have and i dont want to create my own .ssa files with sub station alpha if the subtitles already exist within the .avi files. i hope someone knows what im talking about, any help is appreciated.
