    Hi,

    I looking to make a dvd cover for small film, but am not that good
    with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 are there any software that helps resize
    bitmap files into dvd cover sizes.

    Simplest thing to do is just do a web search for dvd cover template. A number of custom cover sites will have some for photoshop that have proper dimensions and guides so that your spine is the correct width. Replication plants will also usually have templates available on their websites. The proper size for a cover would be about 3240x2175 @300dpi.

    Once you've got the template open just drag and drop your pictures onto it and resize them however you want to fill the template space. Unless you are using high quality pics you'll be amazed how terrible they will look once scaled up to fit a DVD case.
