Pretty simple question here actually... following a spyware attack I've just had to format my HDD and reinstall windows along with all the software obviously. My question is this. Previously I was using the straight forward VDub just for basically frameserving into TMPGEnc and the odd bit of AVI editing here and there as required but nothing too radical.
I've heard of VirtualDubMOD and seen its use in AutoGK. Can I give VDub the flick and use VDubMOD instead exclusively? Does VDubMOD contain everything that's in VDub including the frameserver bit? ie. will I be missing anything if I swap to MOD over the plain VDub?

No, you won't be giving up anything. I use VDMod over VDub because I use a lot of MPEG-2 files, which normal VDub cannot load.
