    About a year ago I downloaded TMPGEnc to create VCDs. Recently I purchased a burner for my PC along with Easy Media Creator. The software does a terrible transcoding. There is alot of macro-blocking and other problems. Because my trial time has run out on TMPGEnc I cant try the MPEG-2 features to see if it is any better then the crap roxio produces. Is there a way that I could get another 30 days out of it? If not can someone please suggest an alternative.
    This plan is so bad, it must be one of ours.

    the result will be better than the roxio encoder, and its only $50 (i think) for tmpgenc plus.

    I think I will just buy it. I have given up on roxio.
