  1. Need you help again guys.

Converting a high quality 717mb xvid(1 of 2 disks nearly hour long) using Tmpgenc.
    This is generating a 2.27gb m2v file.

I might be wrong but i think i'm compressing it too much and was expecting a file more in the 4 gb area.

i'm burning and authoring with dvd lab which doesn't add much info to 2.27gb.

I'm using Baldricks Guide to convert.

So main question... is this right or would you guys expect a bigger file?
If so any idea how i've cocked up my settings to achieve this?
if not i geuss i could author the two avis together.

all help is greatfully received thanks guys

  2. Filesize = bitrate x duration. As long as you're not missing half the movie, I'm guessing your bitrate is too low. Up it.
