nero creating a svcd?? (problems)

I'm using nero 5504, when I select the SVCD option and drag over a compliant svcd mpeg, it pops up a warning asking if I want to convert it to a valid mpeg1 vcd 2.0 mpeg?

Even though I select SVCD, it still trys to encode to vcd. any idea what I am doing wrong?

I don't understand why you are using a leaked Beta of Nero and not the Official Full Release which is already at 5.551 and contains alot of bug fixes.

I will try the newest and see what happens, I borrowed this one off a coworker so I can test it before I buy it to make sure it dont conflict with my EZCD5, I know the earier version did, so I was weary about buying the new one..

I didnt know 5504 was beta..

Yup, 5.504 was the first "leaked" Beta release which showed all most of the new features such as chapters, let me know how it goes with the latest version and if you are still having problems.
