    Anyone else have this problem...
    Uner windows 2000, using a wintv pci
    VirtualDub will not record audio from "line in" on sound card, only from "mic." everytime I start the program, I have to goto sound properies, and reset the mic +20db gain??

    switch input sound source from Mic to line-in in Windows.
    (double-click on speacker icon -> options -> properties -> recordind -> [ok] -> check "line-in" -> [ok] -> bingo.

    Thanks, that worked, but I just got the answer to the ATI problem , so I will be using that card from now on.
